Started in 2010, Anchored Warriors is a network of communities in Western Canada dedicated to intentional discipleship and sharing hope with Indigenous youth and exploring ways to connect with our Creator.
The Anchored Warriors model of mentoring relationships seeks to copy Jesus' way of life on life relationships and servant leadership. It is the hope we have in a loving Creator and Saviour that truly anchors our souls in the challenges of life.
Growing up is tough business. We know that teenagers face incredible challenges, and that, sometimes, they can struggle to know where to turn for help. Anchored Warriors is about creating supportive, encouraging environments, where Indigenous youth can be loved - and no matter the struggle - find the strength to stand as warriors in their communities for positive change.
We host a variety of youth nights, conferences, studies, and special events across Western Canada. Our activities provide opportunities for youth to learn about God, grow as leaders, build community, and have a ton of fun along the way.
